Barton-le-Clay Village Hall has a wide variety of facilities available for hire.
There are three main areas for use:
The main hall (excluding stage) is 15.2 metres x 10.65 metres. The ceiling height is 3.5 metres and we do allow bouncy castles in the building.
The Stage is 6 metres x 3 metres.
The Chiltern room is 7.45 metres x 6.68 metres
The Committee room is 7.18 metres x 4.96 metres
The Village Hall has a fully fitted kitchen with oven, toaster, microwave, dishwasher and an instant water heater – ideal for making hot drinks quickly.
The Hall has a large foyer which contains an unstocked designated bar area (an alcohol licence is available upon request).
The Hall has a large enclosed garden – perfect for expanding your event outside. The Garden is around 25 metres long and around 9 metres wide on average, however it is not a perfect rectangle so it will be slightly wider at one end and slightly narrower at the other end.
We have 200 upholstered chairs and around 30 plastic chairs as well as 16 x 2ft 8″ square tables, 24 x 6ft rectangular tables,12 x 5ft rectangular tables and 5 small circular tables in the foyer area available for use.
We have WIFI in all rooms and a lending library, with comfortable sofa’s in the foyer area which is available for hirers to use. All hall users have access to our Hall speakers through an Audio 3.5mm jack input. A wired microphone is also linked to the hall speakers that hirers can use on request. All areas have either warm air or thermostat-controlled radiators.
We are available for hirer for weddings, engagements, birthday parties, events or other special occasions.
We have a wide variety of regular hirers such as Barton Players, Up-Stage Youth Theatre, Lift Lean, Dance upon a star, Martial Arts, The Dance Studio, the Shillington Camera Club, Carpet Bowls group, Barton Community Cafe, Barton W.I, Mucky Ducks, and Luton Country Music Festival Association plus many more.
